Highgrove Estate was founded in 2014 in Helvetia, OR. Our family moved from separate states in the Midwest to join forces in the Willamette Valley. We took over ideally located Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris vines and tended to them to produce what we have today. Highgrove Estate is the wine portion of the farm that consists of 95 acres of fruit and gardens.
A geologist, a philanthropist, a tech geek, a designer, a plant enthusiast, and a nutritionist all pulled their backgrounds together to cultivate Highgrove Estate. Our family’s goal is to have wines that portray the soil from which they came. We feel that growing certified organic grapes is the best way to ensure the integrity of the grapes and capture the essence of the land.
Our dedication to hand harvesting is important throughout the entire process, from pruning in the spring to hand harvesting in the fall. We maximize grape quality, drive flavor, and increase plant health through the application of select micro and macro organic inputs. Our wine is made with a well-balanced, fruit focused approach to vinification. Winemaking is a true expression of time and place. We see our wine as time capsules that you will want to relive again and again.
